What are Trendsetters?

Trending Travel, launched in 2020 has hit the travel industry by storm. We bring all the latest travel trends to life, searching and promoting unbeatable holiday offers to the most popular destinations world-wide.
Our Trendsetters (Influencers) help us to spread the word on the most talked about destinations and travel deals. Trendsetters is a subscription-based program designed exclusively for influencers.

Signup and Membership

How do I become a Trendsetter?

Use our simple sign up on the website. Fill in all your details including your handle and following information, then complete the subscription process to gain access.

What is the minimum following level for Trendsetters?

Influencers with a following over 10,000 may apply. The success of applications may also be influenced by engagement, and audience demographics.

How much does it cost?

Subscription is £99.99 per year or £9.99 per month or as outlined at the time of enrollment.

Can I pause my membership?

To request a pause of your Trendsetter membership auto-renewal, you must send a written request to affiliate@trendingtravel.co.uk. This option is not part of the standard membership plan and will only be considered under exceptional circumstances. Requests must be submitted at least 7 days before your next billing cycle

How can I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership at https://trendsetters.trendingtravel.co.uk/cancel.
You must do this 72 hours prior to the end of the current billing period or you may be charged for another month.

What are the benefits?

Trendsetter members gain access to dedicated exclusive influencer deals on hotels, flights and activities. Members may also apply for sponsored trips. Trendsetters can earn credits and rewards for promotional activities, which can be redeemed for future travel bookings.

What are Trendsetter Deals?

Our team have long standing relationships with global hotelliers and are busy contracting the best influencer rates for our Trendsetters.
All rates will require social media deliverables as detailed in each offer and rates must remain confidential and not promoted in public.

What are Trips & Campaigns and how can I apply?

Under each of our Influencer Trips and Campaigns you will find an 'Apply' button.  Your application will automatically be sent to our team and partners for approval.
The status of your application will be updated in  'My Trips' which can be found under 'My Account'. 
Approval for sponsored trips is at the discretion of Trending Travel and its partners and is based on various factors including but not limited to relevance, engagement, and audience demographics.
Only successful applicants will be contacted directly.

What are Trendsetter Stays?

Looking for a hotel stay in a world-wide location and cant find a deal to suit?
Our Stays option allows you to search and book attractive global rates, with a greater flexibility regarding destination and travel dates. Head over to your logged in homepage under the Stays tab to view more. Social media deliverables also required.

Can I book flights with Trendsetter Stays?

No, at the moment we do not offer an option to add flights to your Trendsetter Stays hotel booking. Flights are available via our Trendsetter Deals and Trips, where outlined.

Can I earn money?

Trendsetters membership provides opportunities for Influencers to earn credits from their content, participate in incentives and earn from affiliate links.
Trendsetter Credits can be collected and redeemed on Trendsetter deals and stays on the Trendsetter platform only.  Please read more in the 'Redeem Credits' section in the 'My Account' area.

What are Trendsetter Credits

Trendsetter Credits are a unique rewards currency available to subscribers of the Trendsetters Programme. These credits are designed to provide added value for loyal subscribers, giving them opportunities to earn and save on future travel bookings.  Trendsetter Credits can help you get the most out of your subscription.
Here’s how Trendsetter Credits work and the various ways you can earn them:

Earning Trendsetter Credits

Influencer Collaborations
One of the most exciting ways to earn Trendsetter Credits is by participating in influencer marketing campaigns. Trending Travel often collaborates with influencers and content creators to share travel deals, holiday experiences, or trending offers. As a subscriber, you could be selected to take part in these campaigns, and in return, you may earn credits for driving engagement, generating traffic, or securing bookings through your unique affiliate links.

Referral Programmes
Earn Trendsetter Credits by referring friends, family, or followers to the Trendsetters Programme. When someone signs up through your referral link and actively engages with the platform (such as making a booking or subscribing), you could receive credits as a thank-you for growing the community. This is a win-win, as the more people you refer, the more credits you stand to earn.

Engagement and Content Sharing
Trendsetters who amplify Trending Travel’s content on social media, share trending travel deals, or participate in challenges may also be eligible to earn credits. Keep an eye out for social media posts or emails from Trending Travel, as they may contain invitations to participate in activities that reward you with credits.

How do I redeem Trendsetter Credits?

Trendsetter Credits can only be redeemed on deals and travel offers available through Trendsetters and not on the Trending Travel platform or website. This includes discounted hotel stays, special travel packages, or influencer trips. Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or used outside the Trendsetters platform.
Expiry of Credits:
Depending on the promotion or event through which they were earned, Trendsetter Credits may come with an expiration date. Be sure to check the details of your credits to ensure they are used before they expire.  If no expiry date is mention then they will remain on your account until they are redeemed or if there are any changes to your subscription or membership status.
Non-Transferable:
Trendsetter Credits are non-transferable and cannot be shared or gifted to other users. They are exclusively tied to the account that earned them and must be used by that account holder.
Key Considerations:
Active Subscription Required: You must have an active subscription to the Trendsetters Programme at the time of earning and redeeming your Trendsetter Credits. If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, all previously earned credits will be voided, even if you resubscribe at a later date. Ensure your subscription remains up-to-date to retain and use your credits.
No Carryover on Cancellation:
Once your subscription ends or if your payment fails, any unused Trendsetter Credits will be forfeited and will not carry over if you choose to resubscribe later.

Are there any earning opportunities directly with Affiliate Partners?

At the moment, we do not offer earning opportunities directly with affiliate partners - but watch this space, as it is a future planned benefit!
